The living area opens onto a balcony with a gas braai and a view over the lagoon. There's a proper kitchen with a washing machine, so you can cook in — though with restaurants on the same street, most guests don't bother every night.
Linen and towels are ready when you arrive.
Where you'll stay
Our unit sits within the Madriko complex, a few streets back from the beach and in easy reach of the shops, the coffee and the kite schools on the lagoon.
Langebaan is around 135 km from Cape Town International, which makes it an easy run up the R27 for a weekend. The wind season runs roughly October to March, when the lagoon fills with kitesurfers.
